I had an old piece of rosewood a freind found when cleaning out an old garage. He estimated the wood to be 100 years old. Been saving it for a few years until I had a project worthy of it. I used veritas hardware for this. Kits include an A2 steel blade, a brass wear strip, two brass lock nuts and adjustment thumb wheels, a tap, and instructions. The blade is 2-3/4" x 1/8" thick (4" x 11/16" overall)
