7'' SOLID BRASS and HARDENED STEEL. Marking gauge is made from high quality solid brass and hardened steel. Thanks to heavy duty construction and ergonomic design, this woodworking tool will last as long as you need it. + 2 extra HARDENED STEEL WHEEL CUTTER. The extra sharp cutter is hardened and marks a keen accurate line, easily cuts wood fibres preventing grain tear out. Cutter wheel retracts into the front of the gauge for protection and storage. MICRO ADJUSTMENT FEATURE. Simple and firm adjustment with knurled micro adjuster. The setting system allows fine adjustment of the cutting wheel with an extraordinary precision and has 2 thumbscrews to lock the setting. EASY TO SET. One hand easy-set design requires no additional tools. Very comfortable gauges to use, marks cleanly and maintains accuracy. Hardened steel beam is grooved to prevent head rotating during adjustments.
