Picard Joiners hammer

This is a Joiners hammer English pattern size 2. It is used to hammer nails and brads. Also known as a warrington, or cross peen hammer, the narrow end is used to start small finish nails and brads held between your fingers, then driven home using the larger head. The large head is slightly rounded to prevent damaging the wood surface.
