Wentworth No. 1 Cast Iron Saw Vise This vice was patented in 1879. The principal claim was that it is silent. This came from a rubber pad on the moving jaw. The vice was manufactured by Seneca Falls Manufacturing, and Edward C. Stearns & Co.
